Join us on a foraging course and learn all about Nature’s Bountiful Larder!

Sitting in the midst of the South Downs, this impressive mix of open grassland and vast woodland provide a diverse habitat for a wide range of wild plants and mushrooms to flourish throughout the year.

Craigengillan is an award-winning 3000 acre estate, set amidst the hills of the Southern Uplands of Scotland. Encompassing ancient native woodlands, pasture, wetlands, heaths and lochs, we’re excited to see what we’ll find here!

Situated on top of the Kent Downs in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, you’ll find a private and beautiful woodland, designated as a local wildlife site and brimming over with nature.

During these courses we will traverse meadows, woodland and hillside in the Flotterstone area of the Pentland Hills Regionall Park. We expect in the Summer & Autumn to find a wide variety of some of the best edible mushrooms around.

We will be gathering for this course at East Woodlands Village Hall on the edge of Selwood Forest, a beautiful area in the Somerset countryside.

Ashton under Hill is a lovely little village in the Wychavon district of Worcestershire. We will meet at the Star Inn, a friendly country pub in idyllic surroundings before heading off to discover what the area has to offer.

Castle Bromwich Hall and Gardens represent a rare example of a 17th century Jacobean country house, complete with its original garden setting and parkland.

The varied habitats of the Dalemain Estate parklands and gardens area provide a rich, year-round array of plants, trees and fungi for us to explore.

Notgrove is a beautiful Cotswold village, with rolling hillsides and various species of mature trees. The various environments around the village allow for plenty of flora and fungi to flourish.
