Pineapple weedWe have visited the Peak District many times and found numerous edible plants and mushrooms. It is one of our favourite places to go foraging :).

This course is a simple foraging walk where we hope to be able to identify a selection of  edible plants and flowers, plus some edible wild mushrooms.

We will meet at the Miners Arms in Eyam at 12pm

We will email all of you details of all the plants we find to help you remember what you have learnt a couple of days after the event.

Please arrive promptly. We will start the walk at roughly 12:20 after the talk is finished.

Please bear in mind this is a walk in the Peak District and our usual route does include a reasonably steep hill.

We recommend you bring

  • Camera
  • Note pad/pen
