We will meet in front of Oxford Brookes Sports Centre on Headington Campus at 12pm for a short introductory foraging walk.
We’ll discuss what to look for, rules to ensure picking is safe and sustainable and how to identify a few different edible and poisonous plants, flowers, fruits and mushrooms that we find.
After the walk we will email you details of all the plants and mushrooms we find to help you remember what you have learnt.
This course is being kindly subsidised by Oxford Brookes University Sustainability team making it 50% the normal price.
Parking in the local area is extremely limited with none at the University. Active travel or public transport is convenient with a nearby bus stop and bike racks.
