This twice yearly event is with one of the UK’s leading figures in mycology, Mr. Geoffrey Kibby. Author of numerous books on mycology and entomology, including some of the most comprehensive publications on UK fungi. He is also a Fellow of the Linnaean Society; an all round Fun-guy!
A great communicator and wealth of knowledge, there really isn’t anyone in the country we would prize more as a guest mycologist.
We will meet at the The Retreat Forest Holiday Park at 12pm. The course will start with a talk from your foraging instructor Phil Leng and an introduction to Geoffrey. Phil will facilitate during the course and create the meal at the end of the day.

For your day we recommend you bring:
Comfortable, weather appropriate clothing and footwear
Cup for refreshment during the walk
Plate and cutlery for the meal at the end of the course
