Our spring foraging course in Ledbury will be approximately a three hour walk taking in Ledbury Park and the local woods.
This course is a simple foraging walk where we hope to be able to identify a selection of spring shoots and edible plants and flowers, plus hopefully some edible spring mushrooms.
We will meet at 12pm, the location of the meeting point has not been confirmed yet. The course starts with a 20 minute introduction on what to look for and a brief of the general countryside codes where they relate to foragers. We will then head off for the walk.
After a 2 to 3 hour walk around the woods we will gathert to discuss and taste our finds.
We will email all of you details of all the plants we find to help you remember what you have learnt a couple of days after the event.
