For today’s course your Mycologist will be Attila Fodi, who will be joined by our foraging instructor Marlow Renton!
This course will begin at 11am.
Please arrive at the Estate’s main entrance with the large gates, approx.10 minutes before the start of the course. Our Instructor will be waiting for you and once everyone has arrived, you’ll be guided through the Estate to the location where we will begin your course.
This is a specialist Field Mycology Course.
The course is perhaps more suited to people who already have experience identifying mushrooms, rather than novices. Not suitable for children under 12 years.
For your day, we recommend you bring:
Comfortable, weather appropriate clothing and footwear
Cup for refreshment during the walk
Plate and cutlery for the meal at the end of the course
Water/drink to stay hydrated
Camera, note pad & pen
The Ewhurst Estate regularly hosts photographers and recordists, so please be aware that there is a chance of being exposed to social media/publications during your visit. We need to request your permission before entering the Estate, so will email a consent form to you once you have booked onto the course.
