Online Zoom Medicinal Mushroom Course 2026

AVAILABILITY & BOOKING

ABOUT THE COURSE

These medicinal mushroom courses will be hosted by Attila Fodi and facilitated by Marlow Renton on Zoom. You do not need a Zoom account to join.

It is going to be a 3-to-4-hour course (depending on the amount of received questions at the end) about the most well-studied Medicinal Mushrooms, including Reishi, Turkeytail, Cordyceps, Chaga, Lion’s Mane and Maitake.
We are going to go through their taxonomy, historical sources, traditional applications in various Folk Medicine systems and their modern, Evidence-Based applications in modern Mycotherapy.

Attila Fodi, one of the leading medicinal mushroom experts in the UK. Not only is he a mycologist specialising in Polypores, but he also has a Chemistry qualification, speaks Chinese and translates from Classical and Modern Chinese (among 8 other languages). He has studied in the Far East, where many of these medicinal mushrooms are used in mainstream hospital environments already, and he has a true passion for this topic!
Attila has also authored books on Medicinal Mushrooms in his native Hungarian, and we are currently working on one in English.
There really are few, if any people in the UK, more qualified to discuss medicinal mushrooms!
If you watch our YouTube channel you will know that he is quite camera shy too, so this is a special opportunity to learn the facts about medicinal mushrooms from this truly qualified specialist.
Marlow will simply be facilitating the event to help make sure it runs smoothly on Zoom, also helping with the Q&A at the end.

The course will be £45 per person. Timings for the live sessions are 5pm – 9pm (approx.)

Disclaimer: Please bear in mind that Attila is not a physician, or a pharmacist, nor a nutritional therapist, so he won’t be able to prescribe you a therapy. Instead, he is going to inform about both the traditional and modern applications of the selected medicinal mushrooms. If you have any health problems, he always recommends that you talk to your GP, chemist or nutritional therapist.
