Herefordshire, Drovers Rest, Autumn Field Mycology and Mushroom Foraging Course

For thiss course your Mycologist will be Attila Fodi, who will be joined by our foraging instructor Eric Biggane!

We will be meeting in the courtyard at 12pm.
Please do not drive into the courtyard. Turn left into the car park as you go in and park in there. If using a sat nav, please note that the post code unfortunately will NOT get you here, so do follow directions using Google maps. Or, if you use What three words, it’s: flown.widely.yield. You will find brown tourist signs close by that are clearly signposted Drovers Rest. Their lane is a no through road through the woods.

This is a specialist Field Mycology and Mushroom Foraging Course.
The course is perhaps more suited to people who already have experience identifying mushrooms, rather than novices. Not suitable for children under 12 years.

For your day, we recommend you bring:

Comfortable, weather appropriate clothing and footwear
Cup for refreshment during the walk
Plate and cutlery for the meal at the end of the course
Water/drink to stay hydrated
Camera, note pad & pen

Please allow yourself an extra 10 minutes to find The Drovers Rest, as it is ‘off the beaten track’.
