Guildford, Surrey Summer Foraging Course

This course is a simple foraging walk where we hope to be able to identify a selection of edible and poisonous plants, flowers, fruits and hopefully some tasty Summer mushrooms.
We will meet at the Shalford Park car park (just off the A281) at 12pm. The course starts there with a 20 minute introduction on what to look for and a brief of the general countryside codes where they relate to foraging.
After a 2 to 3 hour walk around the Park, we will discuss and taste our finds over a tasty wild food lunch.
We will email you later with the details of all the plants and mushrooms we find to help you to remember what you have learnt.
We recommend you bring:
Warm protective clothing and footwear
Camera
Note pad/pen
A drink
Under 12 year olds can come for free, within reason; but please let us know how many will be coming in advance.
