These shorter courses have been designed to help you to utilise the edible wild foods that can be found on your very own doorstep, at a much reduced ticket price.

Ashton under Hill is a lovely little village in the Wychavon district of Worcestershire. We will meet at the Star Inn, a friendly country pub in idyllic surroundings before heading off to discover what the area has to offer.

Castle Bromwich Hall and Gardens represent a rare example of a 17th century Jacobean country house, complete with its original garden setting and parkland.

Comer Woods is part of the beautiful Dudmaston Estate, on the outskirts of Bridgnorth. The perfect mix of pine, beech, ancient trees and well established meadows, allow for a diverse range of plants and mushrooms to grow throughout the year.

The arboretum here contains vintage Yews and exotic Victorian trees, including ‘the most magnificent collection of cedars in the British Isles’. We expect to find a good number of associated fungi in the Autumn.

The Drovers Rest is a beautiful 16th century organic farm, nestled in the Golden Valley at the foot of the Black Mountains. The farm is surrounded by 200 acres of  ancient woodland, riverside and common land boasting spectacular views. 

Established hedgerows, species rich grassland and ancient pasture ensures that our courses here will cover a wide variety of plants and mushrooms throughout the year.

Elmdon Park has a mixture of meadows, woodland, streams and ponds, making it a great location for foraging.

St Mary’s churchyard is home to one of the oldest Yew trees in Britain believed to be well over 1,000 years old! We will meet at the Alma Inn, a beautiful village pub in the Herefordshire countryside.

We will meet at the Red Lion, a beautiful riverside pub in the village of Hunningham on the outskirts of Leamington Spa. This lovely venue is within easy reach from Warwick, Coventry, Rugby, Banbury, Birmingham, Redditch and Leicester.
