DESCRIPTION:This course is a simple foraging walk where we will identify a 
 selection of edible and poisonous Spring shoots\, plants\, flowers and hop
 efully mushrooms.\n\nWe will meet in the visitor centre courtyard at 12pm
 . The course starts there with a 20 minute introduction on what to look f
 or and a brief of the general countryside codes where they relate to forag
 ers.\n\nAfter a 2 to 3 hour walk around Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve we wi
 ll head back to discuss and taste our finds over a tasty wild food lunch.\
 n\nWe will email all of you details of all the plants we find to help you 
 remember what you have learnt a couple of days after the event.\n\nWe reco
 mmend you bring\n\n 	Warm protective clothing and footwear\n 	Camera\n 	No
 te pad/pen\n\nThere is normally an entrance fee to get into the Reserve wh
 ich you will not be required to pay on this occasion. Please give the rece
 ptionist your name and let them know that you are there for the Wild Food 
 UK foraging course.\n\n\n Under 12 year olds can come for free\, within re
 ason\; but please let us know how many will be coming in advance.\n\nUnfor
 tunately dogs are not allowed on this course.\n\n
