SUMMARY:Surrey\, Banstead Spring Foraging Course
DESCRIPTION:This course is a simple foraging walk where we will identify a 
 selection of edible and poisonous Spring shoots\, plants\, flowers and hop
 efully mushrooms.\n\nThe 166 bus will take you almost directly to the pub 
 and stops at Purley and Woodmansterne Train Stations.\n\nWe will meet in W
 oodmansterne at the Woodman Pub at 12pm. The course starts there with a 2
 0 minute introduction on what to look for and a brief of the general count
 ryside codes where they relate to foragers.\n\nAfter a 2 to 3 hour walk ar
 ound Banstead we will head back to the pub to discuss and taste our finds 
 over a tasty wild food lunch.\n\nWe will email all of you details of all t
 he plants we find to help you remember what you have learnt a couple of da
 ys after the event.\n\nWe recommend you bring\n\n 	Warm protective clothin
 g and footwear\n 	Camera\n 	Note pad/pen\n\n\n\n\n\nUnder 12 year olds can
  come for free\, within reason\; but please let us know how many will be c
 oming in advance.\n\nDrinks at the pub are not included.\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;
