SUMMARY:New Forest Spring Foraging Course
DESCRIPTION:Our Spring foraging course in the New Forest will start with a 
 talk on the do's and don'ts of foraging in the Red Shoot Inn followed by a
 pproximately a three hour walk around the forest near the pub.\n\nThis cou
 rse is a simple foraging walk where we hope to be able to identify a selec
 tion of Spring shoots and edible plants and flowers\, plus hopefully some 
 lovely Spring wild mushrooms.\n\nWe will meet at 12pm in the\n\nRed Shoot 
 at Ringwood\nToms Lane\nLinwood\nRingwood\nHampshire\nBH24 3QT\n\nThe cour
 se starts there with a 20 minute introduction on what to look for and a br
 ief of the general countryside codes where they relate to foragers.\n\nAft
 er a 2 to 3 hour walk around the woods we will go back to the Red Shoot to
  discuss and taste our finds.\n\nWe will email all of you details of all t
 he plants we find to help you remember what you have learnt.\n\nWe recomme
 nd you bring\n\n	Warm protective clothing and footwear\n	Camera\n	Note pad
 /pen\n\nUnder 12 year olds can come for free\, within reason\; but please 
 let us know how many will be coming in advance.\nDrinks at the pub are not
  included.
