SUMMARY:New Forest Spring Foraging Course
DESCRIPTION:Our Spring foraging course in the New Forest will start with a 
 talk on the do's and don'ts of foraging in the Red Shoot Inn folloed by ap
 proximately a three hour walk around the forest near the pub.\n\nThis cour
 se is a simple foraging walk where we hope to be able to identify a select
 ion of Spring shoots and edible plants and flowers\, plus hopefully some l
 ovely Spring wild mushrooms.\n\nWe will meet at 12pm in the\n\nRed Shoot a
 t Ringwood\nToms Lane\nLinwood\nRingwood\nHampshire\nBH24 3QT\n\nThe cours
 e starts there with a 30 minute introduction on what to look for and a bri
 ef of the general countryside codes where they relate to foragers.\n\nAfte
 r a 2 to 3 hour walk around the woods we will go back to the Red Shoot to 
 discuss and taste our finds.\n\nWe will email all of you details of all th
 e plants we find to help you remember what you have learnt.\n\nWe recommen
 d you bring\n\n	Warm protective clothing and footwear\n	Camera\n	Note pad/
 pen\n\nUnder 12 year olds can come for free\, within reason\; but please l
 et us know how many will be coming in advance.\nDrinks at the pub are not 
 included.
