There is some roadside parking nearby\, if required. \nPlease note that there is a 5 minute walk along a quiet country road to get to High S tand Woods\, where we will do much of our walk. If you are bringing young children\, please be aware that there is a small pond in the woods. Well b ehaved dogs are permitted\, but please keep them on a lead\, as there is l ivestock in the adjacent field.\nAll our courses start with a talk on our foraging rules. We’ll then set off for roughly a 2.5 hour walk around th e area\, identifying the edible and poisonous species we find\, and pickin g some for the meal later on. Along the way\, we’ll stop for some pre-pr epared wild food treats. At the end\, we’ll create a meal based on what has been found. Then after the course\, you will be emailed course notes t o help you remember everything you have learnt.\nWe recommend you bring\n\ n Comfortable\, weather appropriate clothing and footwear\n Cup to try our drinks/soup during the walk\n Plate and cutlery for the meal at the end o f the course\n Water / drink to stay hydrated\n Camera\, note pad &\; p en\n\nUnder 12 year olds can come for free\, within reason\; but please le t us know how many will be coming in advance.\n3:30pm is only an approxima te finish time and depending on certain factors\, the course could run unt il 4pm.
