SUMMARY:Cumbria\, Dalemain Mansion Autumn Foraging Course
DESCRIPTION:  *  CHANGE OF ARRANGEMENTS  * \nPlease note that due to la
 st minute circumstances beyond our control\, we will now NOT  be meeting 
 at the usual place\, (Dalemain Carpark)\, for this course on Saturday 11th
  November. Will all participants now gather at 12pm at Dunmallard Car Park
  at Pooley Bridge. This is a distance of 2.7 miles or a 5 minute drive awa
 y. We will then progress around a slightly different route for our foragin
 g walk. The Dunmallard Car Park is rather wet and muddy underfoot\, so ple
 ase wear appropriate boots for the day.\nWe will be emailing each particip
 ant individually with more detail.\n&nbsp\;\n\nAll our courses start with 
 a talk on our foraging guidelines. We’ll then set off for roughly a 2.5 
 hour\, slow-paced walk around the area\, identifying the edible plants and
  mushrooms that we find\, and picking some for the meal later on. We’ll 
 also identify the poisonous species and learn what to avoid when foraging.
  Along the way\, we’ll stop for some wild food treats. At the end\, we
 ’ll create a tasty meal based on what has been found. Then after the cou
 rse\, you will be emailed course notes to help you remember everything you
  have learnt.\nFor your day\, we recommend you bring\n\n	Comfortable\, wea
 ther appropriate clothing and footwear\n	Cup to try our drinks/soup during
  the walk\n	Plate and cutlery for the meal at the end of the course\n	Wate
 r / drink to stay hydrated\n	Camera\, note pad &amp\; pen\n\nUnder 12 year
  olds can come for free\, within reason\; but please let us know how many 
 will be coming in advance so that we can make catering arrangements.\n3:30
 pm is only an approximate finish time and depending on circumstances\, the
  course could run until 4pm.
