At 12pm we will move together to Mi stletoe Wood just a few meters away. There is limited space for cars insid e the wood\, so on occasion some cars may have to remain in the public car park.\n\n \;\nAll our courses start with a talk on our foraging guide lines. We’ll then set off for roughly a 2.5 hour\, slow-paced walk aroun d the area\, identifying the edible plants and mushrooms that we find\, an d picking some for the meal later on. We'll also identify the poisonous sp ecies and learn what to avoid when foraging. Along the way\, we’ll stop for some wild food treats. At the end\, we’ll create a tasty seasonal me al based on what has been found.\nAfter the course we will email you a lis t of everything we talk about on the day\, to help you remember what you h ave learnt.\nFor your day\, we recommend you bring:\n\n Comfortable\, weat her appropriate clothing and footwear\n Cup to try our drinks/soup during the walk\n Plate and cutlery for the meal at the end of the course\n Water / drink to stay hydrated\n Camera\, note pad &\; pen\n\n\nUnder 12 yea r olds can come for free\, within reason\; but please let us know how many will be coming in advance so that we can make catering arrangements.\n3:3 0pm is only an approximate finish time and depending on circumstances\, th e course could run until 4pm. \nA compost toilet is available in the woodl and.\nDogs are allowed but must be kept on lead at all times.\nPublic tran sport:\nHigh Wycombe railway station is 6 miles away\, usually taking 15 m in by taxi or 30 min cycling. The station sees regular services to London (Marylebone) and Oxford operated by Chiltern Railways.
