SUMMARY:Birmingham Spring Foraging Course
DESCRIPTION:Our Spring foraging course in Birmingham will be approximately 
 a three hour walk taking in the Kings Heath and Highbury Park.\n\nThis cou
 rse is a simple foraging walk where we hope to be able to identify a selec
 tion of Spring shoots and edible plants and flowers\, plus hopefully some 
 lovely St Georges mushrooms.\n\nWe will meet in the\nRed Lion Pub \nVicar
 age Rd\, \nBirmingham\, \nWest Midlands \nB14 7LY\nat 12pm. The course sta
 rts there with a 20 minute introduction on what to look for and a brief of
  the general countryside codes where they relate to foragers.\n\nAfter a 2
  to 3 hour walk around the woods we will go back to the Red Lion to discus
 s and taste our finds.\n\nWe will email all of you details of all the plan
 ts we find to help you remember what you have learnt.\n\nWe recommend you 
 bring\n\n	Warm protective clothing and footwear\n	Camera\n	Note pad/pen\n\
 nUnder 12 year olds can come for free\, within reason\; but please let us 
 know how many will be coming in advance.\nDrinks at the pub are not includ
 ed.
