DESCRIPTION:\n\nThis is a specialist Field Mycology and Mushroom Foraging C
 ourse.\nThe course is perhaps more suited to people who already have exper
 ience identifying mushrooms\, rather than novices. Not suitable for childr
 en under 12 years.\n \nCraigengillan Estate is part of the UNESCO (United 
 Nations Educational\, Scientific and Cultural Organisation) Biosphere Rese
 rve and boasts 3000 acres of new and ancient native woodlands\, pasture\, 
 wetlands heaths and lochs.\nYour course leaders will be the top Mycologist
 \, Attila Fodi and WFUK's awesome foraging instructor Jordan McKeating!\nO
 n this course you will learn how to identify many interesting fungi. These
  will include plenty of edible species\, which our foraging instructors wi
 ll discuss in detail\, plus many other inedible and poisonous fungi\, incl
 uding little brown mushrooms\, polypores\, crusts and many other fascinati
 ng species which we hope to find along the way.\nThe course is designed to
  help you identify a wide variety of fungi in the field\, often with the h
 elp of books and chemical tests.\nAs with our normal courses\, this will s
 tart with a talk on the rules of foraging and how to collect properly. \nW
 e will then set off for roughly a 2.5 hour\, slow-paced hour walk\, discus
 sing and collecting what we find. We will then stop for a wild food late l
 unch\, prepared by our foraging instructors. This will be followed by a de
 tailed identification of the various species collected on the walk\, where
  you will be taught how to identify species that are a bit more unusual th
 an the mushrooms foragers normally collect.\nAfter the course you will rec
 eive course notes by email\, listing everything found on the day.\nFor you
 r day\, we recommend you bring:\n\n	Comfortable\, weather appropriate clot
 hing and footwear\n	Note pad and pen\n	Water / drink to stay hydrated\n	Ca
 mera\n\nPlease note that 3.30pm is only an approximate finish time\, which
  may alter depending on circumstances on the day.\nWe will meet in the Cra
