DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\nThis is a specialist Field Mycology and Mushroom Forag
 ing Course.\nThe course is perhaps more suited to people who already have 
 experience identifying mushrooms\, rather than novices. Not suitable for c
 hildren under 12 years. \nCraigengillan Estate is part of the UNESCO (Unit
 ed Nations Educational\, Scientific and Cultural Organisation) Biosphere R
 eserve and boasts 3000 acres of new and ancient native woodlands\, pasture
 \, wetlands heaths and lochs. \nYour course leaders will be our resident 
 Mycologist\, Attila Fodi and Jordan McKeating.\nOn this course you will le
 arn how to identify many interesting fungi. These will include plenty of e
 dible species\, which our foraging instructors will discuss in detail\, pl
 us many other inedible and poisonous fungi\, including little brown mushro
 oms\, polypores\, crusts and many other fascinating species which we hope 
 to find along the way.\n\nThe course is designed to help you identify a wi
 de variety of fungi in the field\, often with the help of books and chemic
 al tests.\n\nAs with our normal courses\, this will start with a talk on t
 he rules of foraging and how to collect properly. \nWe will then set off f
 or roughly a 2.5 hour\, slow-paced hour walk\, discussing and collecting w
 hat we find. We will then stop for a wild food late lunch\, prepared by ou
 r foraging instructors. This will be followed by a detailed identification
  of the various species collected on the walk\, where you will be taught h
 ow to identify species that are a bit more unusual than the mushrooms fora
 gers normally collect.\nAfter the course you will receive course notes by 
 email\, listing everything found on the day.\n\n\nFor your day\, we recomm
 end you bring:\n\n	Comfortable\, weather appropriate clothing and footwear
 \n	Note pad and pen\n	Water / drink to stay hydrated\n	Camera\n\nPlease no
 te that 4pm is only an approximate finish time\, which may alter depending
